Ho Chi Minh City, March 15th, 2022 – The contest “City students with the law” in the academic year 2021 – 2022 was launched by the Department of Education and Training of Ho Chi Minh City and KIRIN Vietnam have announced the top 2 best champions of A and B Table. These are: Go Vap Secondary School and Tran Hung Dao High School.
The contest "Students of the city with the law" 2021-2022 is a solid foundation to support Gen Z to speak out "the voice of youth"
At the final round, the two topics "children's rights" and "school violence" were issues of special interest to the teams, giving perspectives and solutions ideas through the lens of young people. In A Table, surpassing more than 9 competitors, Go Vap Secondary School presented the problem of child abuse and offered solutions to prevent and solve it. Besides, the champion also showed his creativity with the dance "Children today, the world tomorrow" creating a highlight for his performance.
Meanwhile, in Table B, the competition team of Tran Hung Dao High School skillfully approached the topic of school violence with the story of cyberbullying - which is a rather sensitive topic for students. Besides the creative ideas, close to school life, the confidence in presenting and giving opinions and behaviors in the question-answering section brought the team to the honor of receiving the championship prize from the Organizing Committee.
With the goal of helping students understand legal knowledge and apply it to practice, the contest "Students and students of the city with the law" for the school year 2021-2022 is a useful playground for young people to save their lives, speak up and spread influence in the community. Launched in November 2021, the contest has received the attention of schools in the city with the number of candidates registering for the first qualifying round up to 402,912 participants. After going through online quizzes with legal knowledge, 42 excellent schools in two tables A and B continued to compete in the District Finals in the form of video clips on Law topics. The 20 best entries with youthful creativity had the opportunity to compete and conquer the judges to enter the final round.
The contest "City students with the law" for the school year 2021-2022 will be held entirely online, in order to ensure safety and prevent epidemics for students. The online organization is an opportunity to promote young people to express their creativity through diverse and intimate video forms. The success of this year's contest is a lever for the organizers to carry out the contest in the following years. At the same time, it is a testament to the enthusiasm and confidence of young people to speak up, contributing to building a better society for young people.
